About Cocktails and Crafts

Kelli Kohen and Leslie Kepler are the team making up Cocktails and Crafts

We have been friends for many years and have shared an interest in arts and crafts. Recently, we decided to have a dedicated day to work on the particular project of converting bourbon barrel lids into functional art. We now want to share this weekly event through our new website. What began as a fun day of crafting quickly turned into what Facebook Friends have come to know as Friday Cocktails and Crafts. We have a different cocktail featured each week and we share a live video of the pieces we’ve been working on and what is currently available for purchase. We have transformed bourbon barrel lids into lovely personalized pieces, functional charcuterie boards, versatile wall hangings, and intriguing side tables. Each piece is unique and very beautiful in its own way. No two barrel lids are the same and they smell just wonderful with the aged bourbon having soaked into the heavy oak fibers. We are enjoying the fun and challenge of creating these items and look forward to sharing them with you as they morph from charred and dusty oak lids to the beautifully grained and lovingly worked art available to you.
